Message from the President

Dear visitors,

Namaste and welcome to our website!

The Bal Sewa Griha Children's Center (BSG) is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit social organization that supports orphaned, abandoned, conflict-affected, and underprivileged children by providing food, shelter, education, healthcare, and extracurricular activities. Since 1995, BSG has provided services to over 1,000 impoverished children from underdeveloped communities in Nepal.

As someone who grew up in a poor, remote village, I
know firsthand that all children deserve to pursue their dreams, but not all are given the opportunity to do so. I am proud to share that over the past two decades, our children have passed the SLC, completed college, graduated from university, and earned Master's and MBBS degrees. They have gained employment, opened businesses, and achieved financial independence for themselves and their families.

I wish to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to all who have supported us in our efforts to raise our needy children. Because we receive no assistance from the government, BSG's financial foundation has been built by sponsors, donors, adoptive parents, and volunteers, as well as my and Vice President Maya Sunar's personal contributions. You are forever part of the BSG

Before you go, I humbly request that you explore our website and learn about our children, our organization, and our cause. If it so moves you, there are a number of ways you can help. You can become a
sponsor and provide much-needed funding for us to continuously provide vital services to our children. You can volunteer with us, and gain a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience in Nepal. You can even adopt a child. Most importantly, you can spread the word. Share our website with your family and friends, and you may inspire someone to make the world a better place.

With regards,

Jaya Ram Tamata
