Many children have been adopted from Bal Sewa Griha, and moved abroad with their new parents onto happier lives. We wish them the best in their future endeavors!
The sole authority over the adoption of Nepalese children is the Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Welfare of the Nepalese central government. BSG is not involved in the application process and holds no influence over decisions.

US State Department
Since 2010, the US State Department has closed adoption from Nepal to US families. Both Ends Burning, a nonprofit that advocates for children's right to permanent families, has conducted a six-month investigation and has called for the US to re-open adoption from Nepal.
