q Experience: - Account (7 years) - Social Service (10 years) - Teacher (1 year) Maya Sunar was born in Myagdi district, Nepal. Due to lack of sufficient funding, the parents had to work very hard to be able to pay for Maya`s education. She passed her S.L.C. exam in 1996, after which she moved to Kathmandu to study and find social work. Fortunately, she found a great opportunity to work with and establish an organization in 1995 called "CHILDREN WELFARE HOME". She faced a lot of obstacles and problems in developing the Home. They started the Home with 12 children in the year of establishing it. The number of children has increased since then. Now there are 55 children in the CWH who receive proper food, lodging, and education. Maya is very happy that the children are healthy, happy and making progress now. She is proud to see their progress, and very happy to serve such poor, helpless, orphan and abandoned children. Maya wishes to spend her life working in this field, devoting her time to these children. She prays to God for these children's proper education, shelter, food and other facilities. She is most confident that it will be O.K step by step.
